The USA Officials Association is an organization comprised of high school sports officials from throughout West Michigan. After getting trained and certified with the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA), prospective officials can join local associations like the USAOA to officiate high school sports in their area.

The USAOA provides training and scheduling resources for its members to officiate various high school sports including baseball, basketball, football, softball, volleyball, and wrestling.

To make it easier for them to provide information and updates to current and prospective members, I was asked to set up a website that would be easy for them to update and maintain.

I set up their website on WordPress, customizing an off-the-shelf theme using their logo and color scheme. Originally, the website included a members' only section behind a login wall and a method to update their membership online, but these features were later eliminated for a simpler news-and-information approach.

I also provide the USAOA with ongoing support for the website, including hosting and making sure the WordPress core and plugins stay updated.
